This post is placed before you in an unbiased and undetermined manner. Take from it what you will.
Long-Ago Socialist Party of America presidential candidate Norman Thomas:
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened.”
Thoughts?
So simple and so sad.
Yep.
MMMMMMM French Toast. Okay, something else I thought was funny.
Business Finance 101–Obama
Dear Fellow Business Owners:
As a Business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama, will be our next President, and that my Taxes and Fees, will go up in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure, that the Customer, will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about, 8%. I will also have to lay off 6 of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and I didn’t know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did.
I strolled thru the parking lot and found, 8 Obama bumper stickers on my employees cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.
I can't think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.
I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.
Sincerely
Ward

"I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application."
Know what's hard to swallow? Whatever is in your food the next time you go to that restaurant.
The waiter and the bum
Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama,
I need the money." I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my
server had on a "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away
his political preference–just imagine the
coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to
tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the
Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He
stood there in disbelief while I
told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed
more in need–the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my
sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him
to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money
more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific
redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful
for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I
gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved
money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier
thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
At least the federal government doesn't have their hand in our local schools – oh, wait – No Child Left Behind. Well, at least we have a free capitalist market and our banks and insurance firms are free from government interference – oh, wait. Well, at least we don't have socialized health care – oh, wait, that might change too. For how much we try to spread democracy and capitalism, we sure have gone away from that, haven't we?
